History

March, 1934Minoru Kurauchi established "Kurauchi Shoten", a hosiery wholesaler at Honjo Tokyo.
November, 1940Wholesaler was merged to be incorporated as Kurauchi Meriyasu Seizo Co., Ltd., a textile maker.
March, 1945The great Tokyo air raid of WWII burned down our machines and products; we lost everything
October, 1946Relocated to Higashi Kanda (the present location) and started operation
February, 1954Restructuring and name changed to Kurauchi Sen-i Co., Ltd.
1971Due to Mechanical Development Act of the Ministry of Commerce, all registered machines and flat knitters were disposed; became solely a wholesaler.
January, 1986Kurauchi Bldg., a five story (due to height restriction) with a basement flr. was completed in Higashi Kanda Tokyo, the present location.
